Updated: Oct 12, 2020
Skip unsightly metal hangers and the damage they can do to your door.
If you have ever wondered how to hang a wreath without damaging your door and without an unsightly metal wreath hanger, this is your official how-to.
I know what you’re thinking: Drea, what took you so long?! My apologies, I admit this post has been in the back of my mind for the better part of a year. Crazy, right? I kept meaning to write it and next something else always came up. That’s life, I guess.
Here's what you’ll need:
Decorative wreath (Learn how to make your own here)
Removable wall hook (such as Command Strip) that holds up to 5 lbs. for a light-weight foam wreath, I suggest you get a stronger strip for heavier wreaths
Approximately 36 inches of ribbon
My step-by-step guide will have you hanging wreaths like a pro in no time.
I'm a sucker for a visual tutorial. Simply, flick through the images on your phone while you follow the step-by-step photos a #wreath door hanger out of ribbon..
Pro tip: This method works on windows too!
